Flueless - "Hole in the Wall" Recess System Shown left is Moderno Flueless Gas Fire installed in a customer home. This was supplied as a complete system of flueless gas fire, deflector gather and recess plate. In this instance the customer chose a limestone finish and a cream coloured recess to match the walls in the room. This was achieved by building a false chimney breast. The recess system will work with the Angel, Classico or Moderno fires either standard or widescreen . You can install a flueless gas fire in a new build property so don't be misled by people saying it cannot be done due to the "air vent" being installed, this is why it is rated at 90% not 100%.
