| At CVO Fire we design, manufacture and supply high quality UK made Gas and Bio-Ethanol Fires and Fireplaces. We have a wide range of standard products using our unique range of gas burners however we are also well known for designing and supplying bespoke fireplaces upon request. |
| CVO™ was created in 1999. From the outset the business had a single aim, to “revolutionize the concept of fire in the home”. Fireplace design is central to the ethos of the business supported by a manufacturing facility in Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham. Since the concept of the business the CVO brand has become recognised as a provider of high quality, designer gas and bio-fuel fires and fireplaces. Sales is via our own retail showrooms (the Fire Vault), a network of brand compatible UK dealers and export distributors. |

| CVO™ branded fires have been featured on TV and can be seen in some of the most glamorous homes, hotels, bars and restaurants around the World. In the early stages of the development of the brand focus was on special commissions and aspiration pieces. The development of these very special gas fires brought many prestigious awards. The burner technology was then expanded and developed where it now includes over 30 CE approved gas burner units which combine cutting edge technology and contemporary style. When you purchase a CVO fire you are guaranteed of being supplied a fireplace which has been hand made in the UK with high quality locally sourced materials. |
In 2001 CVO™ won the Prince of Wales Medal for Design, beating off competition from Dyson among many others. The award was based on aesthetic vibrancy and integrity of design. The Company was awarded the Store Design of the Year (2001) by Retail Interiors, a prestigious Design Industry magazine. In 2002 CVO™ Fire was judged best exhibitor at the Home and Garden Exhibition and has featured in a number of articles in prestigious magazines for its products as well as featuring Firevault on several TV programs. Over the following years CVO™ won many awards for Technology and Design including the Energy Efficiency Award at Interbuild 2004 for the new Flueless Gas Fire range. In 2005, due to continued expansion, all manufacturing was transferred from Richmond in North Yorkshire to a new factory at Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. Our goal is to continue to expand the brand and to offer customers a product which is built to a high level of quality, hand made in the UK, and individually tested. We have many new designs planned for launch in 2010 including a new FireVault showroom in the South of the UK |
