Great caution should be taken when buying any second hand gas fire regardless of who the manufacturer is. Our advice is DO NOT DO IT. Even if the offer seems like a bargain. The fire, by law, must be supplied with an install booklet and a CE dataplate. If these items are missing DO NOT buy the fire. To ensure all our CVO gas fires meet very strict CE approvals and are hand made here in the UK , we set up each individual fire on our test rig and using the latest computer technology we ensure they are operating safely and within the legal limits set out by the CE approval document. They are also set at the factory to allow no on site adjustments to be made.

  • Does it have an install booklet?
  • Has anyone tampered with this fire?
  • Is it still operating within the legal limits set by the approval?
  • Will it be safe for me and my family?
  • Will I be able to fix it if it has a fault?
  • Are all the parts required still with the fire?
  • What if there are parts which are broken and the set is incomplete?
  • Where will I get the materials if there are parts missing?
