The open flame flueless fire design is totally unique to CVO. The high heat output, high efficiency burner will help save on your heating bills and has low running costs. The flame burns so clean with ultra low emissions that no glass front is required. Supplied as a complete flueless fireplace suite of gas fire, wooden surround, black granite hearth, satin black backing blate and metal fascia in choice of black or stainless steel. Surrounds are available in Oak or Walnut. When replacing a conventional or balanced flue fire the Corona flueless traditional suite will help to lower your gas bills and at the same time improve the efficiency of your central heating system. • DESCRIPTION:
  • This eco fire is supplied as a complete suite including a Flueless Gas Fire with fascia, surround with built in backing plate and black granite hearth.
  • The fire can be installed on any wall within a room as long as a suitable gas supply is available.
  • If using this fire to replace an existing surround and hearth set up with a chimney, the original chimney must be blocked up and sealed before the fire is installed. Failure to do this will result in damage to the new fireplace.
  • The fire must only be installed within a room of a suitable size in m3. The minimum size is shown.
    • 2.7Kw Version = 27m3 or greater.
    • 3.5Kw Version = 40m3 or greater.
    • Note this is "M3" - Height x Width x Length in Meters.
    • If your room size is less than 100m3 we advise buying the 2.7Kw version of the fire.
  • The Fire requires air ventilation with a vent within the room which provides a minimum of “free air” (not the size of the grille) as shown below. This vent must be over 1 metre away from the appliance.
    • 2.7Kw Version = 100cm2 “Free Air”
    • 3.5Kw Version = 125cm2 “Free Air”
  • The Room in which the appliance is to be installed must also have a window which can be opened if required.
  • As this is an open flamed appliance consideration should be given to elderly, infirm or children and the use of a “fire guard” may be required. These can be purchased from most large DIY stores.
