Our flueless gas fires are also CE approved with a special deflector gather unit. This optional extra allows a shelf to be fitted above the wall mounted flueless fire and also to recess the fire into the wall. | The CVO recessed flueless gas fire system is totally unique in today's market. When buying a recess plate the price includes the recess deflector also. Not only is the flueless fire open flamed with no glass screen but by using the recess system it is possible to inset the fire into the wall to create a "hole in the wall" flueless fire. WARNING: Never attempt to install any other branded flueless gas fire into a recess unless the "manufacturer" of the fire states that it is safe to do so. Flueless gas fires are governed by very strict CE approvals and recessing the fire can affect this approval. The system we sell is CE approved for use with our flueless fires only. By recessing a flueless fire without the manufacturers approval it will render the appliance dangerous and a gas engineer will refuse to install the fire. |

Why no technical specifications online? There have been a number of incidents where customers have seen our flueless recess system, downloaded the technical specification and then chosen to copy our design for use with another design of cheaper flueless fire. Not only is it illegal to copy our designs they have also found out that the gas fitter would not install the cheaper fire they had selected as the fire is designed to be "wall mounted" only. This is a case where "making your own because its cheaper" does not work! Our fires are designed to high specification and are CE approved to be safe. Do not cut corners where your families safety is concerned - buy a product which is tested to be safe and has safety features built in. The recess plate is supplied manufactured from high quality brushed stainless steel. There are 3 standard colours options: White, Black or Cream. Other colours are available (RAL number required) on request. The deflector gather is designed to fit the Angel flueless gas fire however can also be adapted top fit the other fires in the range. The deflector MUST be ordered at the same time as the fire and is an optional extra available at extra cost. |
